Murano glass and Venetian glass beads are handmade in Venice and Murano. They are a small chain of islands where the beads have been made for many centuries and are still using the same techniques today. I started creating Murano jewelry about 7 years ago. My mother visited Italy on a trip and had a wonderful time there. She was able to see the process in which the beads were made and found a love for the glass.
