Midtown Row aims to ease the process of discovering and shopping from great specialty brands online. We only partner with brands that are the most acclaimed and beloved in their local communities (e.g., national press attention, 4-5 stars and 500+ Yelp reviews, lines out the door). We like stores that have have a singular focus: create the best stuff you've ever had. We have partnerships with dozens of these brands and offer their most popular products on our site. We started Midtown Row based on our personal experiences; we've have traveled a lot in our lives for work and pleasure, and wherever we went, we kept running into great local stores that people who knew about them were fanatical about. We often brought back products with us and told our friends about them. We eventually realized, when we wanted to get some more, that buying online from these stores was a poor experience. Many specialty brands don’t have online stores, and if they do, the user experience is usually terrible. There’s also no central place where users can go to find these specialty stores (something Amazon does for mainstream retail brands). We wanted to solve this problem, providing people with a way to discover great specialty brands and helping these small businesses expand their reach.
